Cereal is the best late night snack!

Cooking is one of my top three least favorite things to do. I AM NOT A COOK!

I am a movie geek and quote movies ALL the time!

My favorite types of movies are musicals. GOOSEBUMPS!

Bruschetta and Caeser Salad are their own food group... dang it, now I'm hungry!

I love the colour mint green and black... yes black is a colour in my world! LOL!

There is no better feeling than making Matthew and my daughter laugh.

I hate the feeling of laying in bed with socks on.

I love playing board games.

I dont drink coffee, or anything hot for that matter, but I love me a good Iced Capp from Timmies.

Shoes and purses are my favorites accessories - don't make me choose!

I am a night owl... of course Matthew is a morning person.

I love a good laugh that makes you cry.

I love staying up all night laughing with family or friends till the sun comes up. 

There are no words to describe the day Imagin was placed in my arms - she took my breath away.

To look into Matthews eyes as we were becoming husband and wife was one of the greatest joys of my life.

I guess you could say my love affair with photography and capturing a moment began in high school. I was always the friend or family member with a camera. I loved taking photos of moments and freezing it in time. It is an indescribable feeling you get when looking at a photo from your past. That said, it wasn't until college while taking Journalism, (I was going to be a writer and tell these amazing stories), that I had a photography course which was a prerequisite. I had to buy a DSLR (my first was a film camera... did I just give away my age?) and well, I never looked back!! 

After changing schools, moving 3 hours away from home and changing my major into full time photography, I knew I was where and doing what I was meant to be doing. I graduated and immediately immersed myself into creating and telling stories. I have spent the last (clears throat) decade photographing and meeting beautiful people during incredible moments in their life. 

I love connecting with people and learning more about their life and their love. I love building relationships and friendships that will last a lifetime. I will infuse my passion for photography and love and along with Matthew, provide an amazing photography experience.

Matthew amazes me with all the knowledge he has about everything. He has this ability to comfort me and always make me feel safe. He is the one, even after 16 years together, who can make me laugh the most (yes even with some of his really cheesy, really really cheesy jokes)... although our daughter has quite the humorous side as well.

I love what I do and even after more than 12 years with a camera in my hands, every time I shoot I fall more in love with photography and moments that take my breath away.  I couldn't imagine doing anything else. It is my dream come true and I am so lucky I get to share it with the love of my life and show our sweet girl what following your dreams looks like. Now that makes my heart skip a beat.

You never know where life and your journey will take you. From thinking I was going to do one thing for so long, to changing my path with not much thought, other than just the pure joy of having a camera in my hands. Here I am, doing what I was meant to, telling amazing stories... just with a camera, not a pen.
